Coaching 2022

Welcome back Winter Coaching

You are invited to join us back on the greens for some winter coaching 2022. We are super excited to be back and being able to offer coaching and support to you players wanting to be the best you can and would like to be.

This year is really for any year bowler wishing to improve and get to know who the coaches are in Nelson. We will be focusing on the basics which always determines the result on the head. Run over three sessions, looking at The Delivery and all components of that. How to achieve consistency, weighted shots and control and drills for different shots.

We are going to be running sessions 2022. July 30th (Motueka), August 6th (Wakefield) & August 13th (Tahunanui). Times for each session are 10am to 12pm.

Cost per participant is $5 per session to cover green and printing costs.

Please, if you are interested, please contact Dean Wood on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or text him on 0220658977 (please don’t phone, my secretary is out of order) or come on the day. We will have coaches ready to provide support and guidance.

Due to the band and others having Covid the Bowls Nelson Board has decided to postpone the Centre prize giving from 28th May until the 27th August.  Same place and time.  Please hold onto your current tickets.
